The beta release of the Mac version of MIDI Translator (one of the app I use for building these setups) is almost done according to the developer. Providing there are no hang ups and/or significant bugs, the Mac version of nK shouldn’t be too far away.
I can’t really make any guarantees though as this is really out of my control. If it ends up taking too long though, the back up plan is to buy/learn Max/MSP and use that instead.
I’ll try to post updates on this as frequently as I can.
Yes, there will be a discount at the very least…possibly a free cross-grade. It’s hard to say for sure until I see more on how MIDI Translator for the Mac is developed. I’ll post updates on the forum on I receive them.
Sorry for the delay guys…got a bit tied up with the holiday.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any specific time frames on the Mac version. The programming environment I use (MIDI Translator) is currently being beta tested on Mac, but it may be a while until that’s release-ready.
Since this is taking so long, I’ll start looking into Max/MSP ( Mac compatible) to see if I can build the set up with that. That may end up being a quicker option than waiting for Translator to be completely ported over.
I’ll post updates on this as regularly as possible.
Just want to add my voice to the sound of the crowd....
But first, Stray... Shortly after buying a padKontrol for playing dundun backup to my Djembe playing on N.I. Battery and also using it to play accompaniment for my Hang drum via Sonic Couture Hang Drum Mk 1&2... i came across your vids on youtube and they were most helpful in getting me up and running and on a roll.
Thing is i have always used a Apple Mac and always will, so I too would love to see the development of OS X ports for your apps as i think they are the best utilities i have seen for PK.
Thnx for putting in the work you have for PK users, no doubt it is highly appreciated by us all.
