Hi all, I am trying to use Clyphx Pro to fix the record length of all the empty tracks in live to an arbitrary length when triggering with a Launchpad.
I have experimented with some different things on xcontrols (pasted below) and have had some success with recording. However, the issues arise when it comes to launching tracks once they've been recording; LOOP ONE - THREE for obvious reasons and LOOP FOUR - SIX wait times and following actions interfere when launching new clips. Is it possible to bypass certain actions if the slot is not empty? Or maybe create an IF function (might be to do with user actions).
LOOP RECORD ONE = NOTE, 1, 0, 0, 127, 1/RECFIX %BARS% 1
LOOP RECORD TWO = NOTE, 1, 16, 0, 127, 1/RECFIX %BARS% 2
LOOP RECORD THREE = NOTE, 1, 32, 0, 127, 1/RECFIX %BARS% 3
LOOP RECORD FOUR = NOTE, 1, 48, 0, 127, 1/ PLAY 4 ; WAITS %BARS% ; PLAY 4
LOOP RECORD FIVE = NOTE, 1, 64, 0, 127, 1/ PLAY 5 ; WAITS %BARS% ; PLAY 5
LOOP RECORD SIX = NOTE, 1, 80, 0, 127, 1/ PLAY 6 ; WAITS %BARS% ; PLAY 6
I have used xclips to define the BARS that I want to record.
If anyone can help me achieve this please drop me a line (or two). Im sort of expecting to have to program some user actions, which I'm up for giving a shot at, but would need some advise on what to learn ect.
