If I record an 8 bar clip, is it possible to write a Clyphx Pro action to then be able to choose bars 1-4 of that recorded clip and loop them? I'd also like to choose bars 5-8 and loop them as well.
Here is the action I'm using to record the 8 bar clip on Track 1 Clip 1. 1/arm on; 1/play 1; waits 8b; 1/play 1
Is it possible to write an action that selects that recorded clip, which is 8 bars, Track 1 Clip, but only play and loop bars 1-4, or 5-8?
I'm a very new user of Clyphx Pro and I've tried some of the actions but can't seem to get them to work. I tried using the CLIP START action but haven't been able to get it to work, in any fashion. I imagine I have it set incorrectly. Thanks for any insight you may have!

Thanks for the help Ricky. Being so new to ClyhphX, I'm having a hard time understanding how it works at times. I tried that code and it is putting the LOOP START slightly past 2.2, no idea why. The START MARKER gets properly set at 5. Where did you learn to put parentheses around the 1/CLIP(1)? I would have never guessed to do that, and I've scoured the manual, I must have missed something?
My hope was to record an 8 bar clip that loops for a minute or so, and then write a ClyphX action, in a different clip slot, which selects that 8 bar clip, but only plays/loops bars 1-4. I don't know if ClyphXPro is designed to do that, but I'd like to find out before moving to a different idea, which would involve using 3 tracks / 3 clips.

Ah, I just tried LOOP START 5.1.1 and that worked! Alright, gonna play around with this. Still curious about why there needs to be parentheses around the 1 for 1/CLIP(1)? Thanks so much for your help Ricky!

Ah sorry I forgot a ".1" in my code. Yes it's 5.1.1
Happy you solved.
Regarding the place to get those infos, search the manual "Applying Actions to objects and ranges" section at page 35. I suggest to read the whole manual at least once, also if not all concepts will be intelligible, then when you need something you will probably remember it exists somewhere!
