Hi everyone, I would like to use bindings. I have some ideas about more complicated ways of using it, but I want to get started in a more simple manner first. So here it is: This doesn't work, see pictures. I put four drumpads in the buttons text file (as in picture). I assigned one with a concrete action in the txt file, the others I left empty "none', see picture. The ones that don't have actions bound to them I tried to control with a midi clip (see picture), but that doesn't work. The one binding that I assigned in the txt file doesn't work either. I also made a screenshot of my settings in Ableton.
I also put the lines in the txt file in the original NativeKontrol folder instead of the XTA folder. I changed my Ableton settings accordingly (at least, what I think is accordingly...).
Good to know perhaps is that installation did not go as described in the manual. I had to manually install. After that the .txt files showed up in the folders.
Also good to know, the settings of these particular buttons are not used for other midi mappings.
Ableton does register a MIDI signal coming in when I press these buttons.
I tried changing to a MIDI channel that's not in use just to make sure, but alas, no change.
What am I doing wrong here?
I am sorry if this an obvious thing, it just might be. But I tried just about everything I could.... Tnx!
I will try with one parameter. I am quite sure I already did though. This one I chose randomly. But I will check.
Would it be possible to make a macro referring to multiple actions (like 1-7/mute) and using that in bindings?
Hi Stray, I am sorry, it still doesn't work with these settings:
I use this X-CLIP to assign the button
 BIND PS2_PAD8 A/SOLO
This is my txt file:(Different than above, with all set to "NONE")
This is the setting of the button on my MiniLab:
I do not want to waste your time, but I really can't figure this out by myself and the manual.
Thanks in advance! Ties
EDIT: I also tried to make an X-Control which worked before but not now. I entered this in the X-Control file MUTE_1TO7 = CC, 10, 43, 0, 127, 1-7/MUTE The txt file is located in the XTA directory (see my settings in Ableton above)
Update: tried to solve it and tried nearly everything we could think off in the FB group (Tnx guys) with no result. X-controls and bindings are not working. We stripped the setup, made set as simple as possible, ableton and clyphpro-whose. No luck so far..
