Weird problem. ClyphX has stopped reacting to my X-controls. I can still use X-Clips in Live perfectly fine, but none of the X-Controls assigned to my external midi controllers are responding now. I've restarted the system several times, no change. Nothing looks different under MIDI preferences since yesterday when everything worked. Nothing has changed in the template set either. The devices are still sending the correct MIDI messages on the correct MIDI channels (confirmed by the device editor software and Live's MIDI mapping), and Live is receiving that MIDI, but it's not triggering the X-Control. I have 3 controllers running ClyphX scripts, and none of them work now. Baffling. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Thanks in advance! Let me know if I did anything wrong getting these files.
I will also say I noticed while looking for the Ableton Log in my preferences file - it looks like Live auto-updated yesterday. I thought I had those turned off, so I'm guessing this problem is related. I actually "checked" that too thinking it might be the issue, but I had just looked at the version number in the program, then checked the Ableton forums Current version thread, which tied, and the date on that post is 2/21/18, so I figured I was good. They must just update that post when they release a version and not edit the timestamp.
Tnx, I think I already tried that. To make sure, you mean this setting?the last times I tried I left 'Output' alone (It is greyed out now because the control is not connected). I tried both ways many times.

I, too, just started having this same problem today! And it looks like my Live updated (to v10.1.14) last night as well. For my similar issue, my X-Controls stopped reacting to the MIDI signals I send to Clyphx Pro using the IAC Driver. And they always worked just fine up until today. **However** I was able to determine a really wonky "work-around" to temporarily "fix" it. Though it's terrible, so I'm hoping it helps you troubleshoot what is really going on here.
What I discovered is that I can get it to temporarily work (like normal) again by completing the following steps:
With Ableton open and the problem manifesting itself, open X-Controls.txt and update all channels in your custom controls (ex. change from using channel 1 to channel 2).
Save & close X-Controls.txt.
Change the channel of the MIDI track(s) in Ableton Live to correspond to the new channel.
Open Preferences and under Control Surface, change "Clyphx Pro" to "None" and then set it back to "Clyphx Pro."
Close Preferences, start playing in Live, and suddenly the X-Controls start working again!
But, I noticed as soon as I restarted Ableton or even just tried to reload Clyphx Pro (step 4 above), it immediately would stop firing the X-Control commands again--even though MIDI notes were still firing. And so the only way I found I could get it to "function" again was to follow steps 1-5 above.
Anyway, please forgive me if this should be posted in its own separate thread (this is my first post), but I suspect the root cause is very closely related. Perhaps something changed with the new version of Live?
I'm attaching my Debug Log.txt and tonight's Log.txt for reference, though I'm not sure if there was really a "problem action" for me to run during the DEBUG action. I just let it try to loop over my MIDI clip in Arrangement View that was firing MIDI signals over IAC but not being recognized by my X-Controls file.
