Thanks for the replies! A couple of questions as I try to iron out my workflow.... 1) Is there a way in Ableton to copy/paste Cues or otherwise duplicate or store for later use. It seems you have to type the action list each time you create an X-Cue. 2) Is there a way to globally disable/enable x-Cues? This is in the situation where I want to develop a section of the arrangement in session view (typically using "Consolidate time to new scene"). The playhead in arrange view is still active and any X-Cues that it happens to cross get executed which is not wanted. I can place an empty arrangement loop after the song start but I'm wondering if there is a more elegant way?
Thanks for the hint. I can see how this would get around the limitations of X-Cues. I cant see where "Note Trigger Handler" is documented, though... I see a live lesson "Triggering Actions via Notes in a Clip"
