Just bought Clyphx Pro about a month ago, first off it's awesome, thanks for making such a cool bit of software!
I'm using it to automate parts of a live looping rig for guitar, fiddle, push 2, and who knows what else! One of the main things I'm doing is using it to reset everything to a known state at the start of a song. I'm using it to turn arm off, delete clips, etc. This is working perfectly. The main thing I'm missing is how to select the scene a clip is launched from. I want to launch my intro scene and make sure that the scene is also selected so I can use midi to launch next scene etc.
If I seelct by the exact name of the scene, that works, but it's a pain to type out the name for each song in my set. I would assume this is really easy and in missing something. If not, could I get a variable to hold the the scene name that the clip resides on, then use that to select the scene?
Other sorta related question, is there a way to set the push scale note root to an absolute value, not just Inc or Dec? I would love to set it to a specific root when moving to my bass track, another when moving to my synth, etc.
Welcome to the forum. On the first question, that would depend a bit on how exactly you're launching scenes and when and how exactly you want to select them. As a start, try turning on Select on Launch in Live's preferences.
On the second question, yes, you could do something like: PUSH SCL ROOT C#
