Hi Stray! Long time no see man hope all is well.
Is it possible to specify the min and max values of a certain bind?
When using Arsenal it is possible to edit the TXT file to make the faders go to a maximum of 0 instead of 6db. I'm trying to do the same for my mappings but because I'm trying this method with the bindinds addon, Clyphx Pro has to be setup as an input in the control surface (in my case the LaunchControl XL) so I can't have Arsenal NLCX.
Btw is it possible to have bindings working and Arsenal at the same time while only having 1 Control Surface slot used?
Just to explain the idea:
Ideally I would like to use the Arsenal NLCX 8 encoder modes to control each different sub mix on my setup, like Main Mix, Beat mix, Sends mix, etc..

I was checking this video you made about Hazmapping: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymBJSuhs1Sc (I think it's the only thing I haven't bought in Nativekontrolyet xD) anyway are you refering to the "Hazmap mix mode"?
The thing is that I need to change the mappings in Launchcontrol XL without moving the grid, because if the grid moves and let's say I have Push in note mode while playing in a particular track then if the grid focus moves I lose control of the track where I was initialy playing on.
What I need is a way of pressing a button that only quickly changes all mappings on the controller without moving the grid.
Unfortunatly the way the Launchcontrol XL software works doesn't allow for mapping the second bank of knobs because the button that controls the send range is itself mapped as an ordenary button, that's why Arsenal is great because you use the button modes bellow to change which range of sends it controls.
Anyway could you help me figure aout a way of doing this? Thanks
HazMap modes are mutable (you can use multiple instances of them with each controlling different parameters), so you need to specify a name for each instance like HM_MIX EQ for example. With Arsenal_NLCX, you enter mapping mode by holding down Shift and turning the first encoder to its max value. This is all covered in more detail in the user manual.

Thanks! I've already got hazmapping working now.
I've created a mapping for the LCXL that controls 6 sends (over two pages) on encoders 1-3 and left the encoder 4 for volume. But as mentioned it follows the grid.
Is it possible to achieve what I'm trying to do?
(Regarding the PS1 script for push. Is it possible to run with only 1 slot on the control surfaces or must it have the Live's default port also selected? I'm kind of limited on control surfaces, already have 6 being used. I was trying this script for the push because of the Track Lock feature which would solve push from jumping when moving to another track.)
I'm not at the office, so I can't check now but, are you sure that changing the bank of tracks that NLCX controls impacts the selected track? If not, then it wouldn't impact what Push is doing.
Regarding PS1, no, it depends on the Push script being in use. It could possibly be customized to not require that, but my plate is quite full at the moment, so I can't take on any custom work unfortunately.

Yes, unless we're using the PS1 script that has the ability to lock at a certain track which I guess it will be what I'll be using from now on. Therfore it would be great to have the ability to only use the PS1 script without having to also have the default script loaded as well.
Been testing as we speak and so far I've only noticed one thing that i'm not sure if it's suppose to work as it does.
If I'm playing on Push 1 and I lock the device, when I move to another track it remains locked as suppose but when I unlock it it still reflects the previous track on the controller.
So let's say I'm playing a drum rack on track 3 and I lock it. Then I move to track 5, where I have an instrument, i then press "shift" + "tap tempo" to unlock it and intead of the layout in "note mode plus" changing to instrument it still reflect the drumrack. To make it display correctly i have to move to another track and then back again to the track so that the grid changes to the right display.
Just a technical question, don't know if anyone already mentioned this, but wouldn't it be possible to change to lock to track to another button in push which is not the Tap tempo? I'm asking this because while quickly testing it i sometimes missed the timing between the 2 button presses and acidently messed with the song's tempo.
In a live scenario I guess it looks a little risky, just wondering if this has ever been mentioned before.
If you please could at least make the push PS1 to not require the original script I would a very happy man and promisse not to bother you for a long time
Anyway Arsenal is so d**n good man... The more I use it the more i find new things to work with. Amazing!
In regard to the locking issue, I haven't come across that. Please try to recreate using the default Live set. You can load that by holding down Shift and selecting New Live Set from the File menu. If you can recreate, please create a new thread on the Arsenal board and mention the steps you're using to recreate it.
On the tap tempo point, pressing tap tempo once won't impact the tempo. You have to press it multiple times (the number of times depends on the time signature - 4 times in the case of 4/4 for example) in order for it to impact tempo. So I don't think it's much of a risk really. In this context, I think other functions like redo are actually more risky. If you meant to trigger redo, but Shift wasn't properly held down first, you'll trigger undo.
