I have a few audio effect racks on my master channel, most of these racks are nested and are receivers which control my live set
Using X controls i hacked my X touch mini to be able to Select between different audio effect racks on my master with the commands
"Master"/DEV(1) SEL "Master"/DEV(2) SEL "Master"/DEV(3) SEL
Now i am looking to assign the > and < functions so i can further navigate between devices on the master channel and access the nested devices within the racks.. I understand there is 2 ways to this - with Control surface actions and device actions but when trying to program to my controller with CS x DV BANK >, or DEV CSEL > it isnt effecting any of the racks on my master channel.
To navigate between devices, you can use DEVLEFT and DEVRIGHT. To navigate between the chains of the selected rack, you could use SEL/DEV(SEL) CSEL < and SEL/DEV(SEL) CSEL >. FWIW, the other action you mention is used for navigating between the device parameter banks a control surface controls.
