THIS BETA IS NOW CLOSED!CrossFire is our new product for the Akai Fire and Live 10.0.6 or later. Fire is a very cool little controller and CrossFire enables it to be used as powerful control surface for Live. You can learn more about the product here. Why is CrossFire being beta tested?CrossFire is a different sort of product than others we've done. Specifically, it aims to offer a similar workflow to what you'd find when using Fire with FL Studio. So, we'd like to do a short term public beta test to gather feedback. Please share your thoughts on the product in this thread. So how I can take part in the beta? You can purchase CrossFire at a discounted price from Isotonik Studios. Of course, your purchase entitles you to free updates and support for the life of the product. Using ClyphX Pro and M4L?Here's an M4L device that adds a ClyphX Pro mode to CrossFire. You can enter/exit the mode by holding down Alt and pressing Step. This will be added to ClyphX Pro in the next update. ClyphX Pro for CrossFire v1.0.0.amxd (65.93 KB)

Excited by the documentation for the beta CrossFire release, and awesome video demonstration. Just recently ordered this controller to get deeper with the Arsenal / ClyphX Pro rig and can't wait.
Looks as though I will need to make the update to 10.0.6 to make it happen. Will this affect the compatibility of my other control surface scripts?
• Arsenal APM (1.0.8) • Arsenal NLC (1.0.8)
• LPC Live 2 (1.0.5b) • Clyphx X Pro (1.1.5)
Thanks nativeKontrol!

Hi! Because I needed to change my liveset-concept a little bit, I'm now in need for a 16 track-device. Searching for this I found the Akai Fire and now your script . I think I gonna purchase a Fire tomorrow for trying it out - I am mainly interested in the performance mode Do you think it would be possible to stack up multiple fires with the script anytime - or is this not in the concept? Thanks and cheers Basti

If you mean in performance mode, that can be done via the Script Linking functionality in ClyphX Pro. You could link/stack up to 6 of them that way.

Ok cool, thanks! I got me one of those this morning and just bought your script, so far it seems to work good (with a blank project) and is almost self-explanatory ^^. Now I am going to test the device in my live-setup to get an idea if 16x4 is large enough to maintain an overview of my current set situation . I have to get into clyphx pro script linking anyway because I want to sync Push, Launchpad and now the Fire

Everything seems to work nicely, big up Some feature ideas came to my mind while using it: - could you make the "alt" state of the performance mode lockable - so that i can use it to interact with all my 16 tracks easily - to make this more useful it woould be nice to color the first row corresponding to the current track color - total bonus: "stop clip" could be indicating playing clips by pulsating Cheers

Good to hear! Some of these ideas might be doable. I'll look into them for the next update.

Great . Some other very cool thing would be - to display the 4 current visible scene names in the display - to light the led of the current playing (last launched) scene Do you think it is possible (with deeper clpygx integration) to bind the 4 encoders of the crossfire? I extended my lemur template to display those values, too

I'll look into the first two points for the next update (after the release of v1.0.0). On the last point, that isn't likely as I'd like to keep CrossFire as simple as possible and not have dependencies on other products like ClyphX Pro. I will keep it in mind however.
