Everything looks good in the log. My best guess would be that the buttons you're using are sending off values shortly after sending on values, which would result in a minimal move as opposed to a continuous drag. To verify that, try using the actions from X-Clips.
Gave a few different "buttons" from Lemur app a try first, switch, pad, custom button(not sure if you use this app) Seems all react the same way with the mouse assignment. Don't get it as I can most all other functions to work with same buttons? Maybe note over CC would be better. Anyhow, tried the following in an x-clip key mdown dn : key mdown up ;
same result, just one minimal move down. Although when trying to stop x-clip with actual mouse I didn't have full control until clip was actually stopped. Here's debug of that attempt. Debug Log.txt (21.63 KB)
Oi! lotsa time invested in Lemur/Clyphx pro dream setup! I can't give up yet! Thanks Timothy
Okay, I've been able to recreate this issue, which is due to a minor incompatibility with the MT Player runtime and newer versions of OS X. I've contacted the developer of MT Player and will hopefully have a fix for this soon. Thanks for bringing this up!
Alright! Hope for a fix soon too, although then there is Mojave os dropping on Monday. Dunno if you're on the beta for that? Sure i'll upgrade in the near term, so hope the fix is long living. Thanks always, Timothy
Can't recreate that here. Was this occurring prior to installing the new version of MT Player? Does it occur when using X-Clips instead of X-Controls? Also, you have other X-Controls with the same action lists (scrollup = CC, 8, 24, 0, 127, key up dn : key up up ; for example). Are you having the same issue with those?
alright, back on home network, tried with x-clips. X-clips acted similar to x-control when looping, forcing cursor in which ever direction then releasing when stopped. Which makes sense, after stopping x-clips tried same x-controls again and had old loss of control for a split second then they reacted as expected. As well as the x-controls for scroll. Maybe, when this occurs, its a function of a slow router? Anyhow here's that Debug Debug Log.txt (82.71 KB) Thanks
Debug Log.txt (28.46 KB) oi! still having issues with these x-osc sticking. I tried with x-clips on one shot, didn't seem to trigger action, but Lemur buttons get stuck, just on these arrow keys. /leftarrowkey/x = key left ;
/rightarrowkey/x = key right ;
/uparrowkey/x = key up ;
/downarrowkey/x = key down ;
Originally i had them as up, down action but then changed to this, same results.
However the mouse directions and clicks still work? When I experienced the sticking i had to quit mt player and lemur daemon to get ableton to respond again. I noticed when quitting Lemur daemon Ableton seemed to remedy instantly. So maybe this has always been a Lemur issue, you don't know those folks do ya? They could certainly use and update. I try soon with different controller. Thanks
