The Arsenal Settings Editor is a 64-bit desktop application that allows you to edit all Arsenal-related settings using a graphical interface. This makes editing settings in general much easier, but is especially useful when editing the assignments of the buttons in a Matrix. Please give the editor a spin and post here with any questions/comments/problems. Arsenal Settings Editor for OS XArsenal Settings Editor for Windows July 5, 2018: Changes in v1.0.1- Fixed crash that could occur upon starting the editor on certain systems.
- Reduced initial size of editor window to fit on smaller laptop screens.
- Added standard shortcuts for toggling fullscreen.

DMG file does not appear to unpack. Switched tabs just to see if the installer opened without switching focus. Sorted in my downloads folder by date added as well as by name, just in case I missed it...

Which version of the operating system are you using? What is the file size of the dmg shown in Finder? And what exactly occurs when you double click on the dmg?

Hi Stray!
Excited to see this! Unfortunately, it crashes after showing the dialog that lets me select the script to be edited.
I'm on Windows 8.1. Should this work for me?

Played around with the editor and found it VERY useful to have all of these options in one handy app. Thanks for the mouse-over explanations... very handy in understanding what each setting means. One question: should I be able to edit the assignments of individual buttons in a matrix? If so, I don't see any option to do so. If not, then I misunderstood when the first post mentioned: "but is especially useful when editing the assignments of the buttons in a Matrix." I am using the OS X version.
Thanks!

Yes, it should. Which script are you selecting? Hi Stray, I'm selecting "Arsenal LPP_A" which is the script that I use. It's the only option available in the dropdown box, btw. I'm running 64 bit Ableton, if that matters. The error is a simple "Arsenal Setting Editor has stopped working" message. I have a trial version of Visual Studio on this computer, and it offers a "Debug" button after the error. I tried it, and here's the info I get in case it's useful: Unhandled exception at 0x00007FF79DF924B9 in Arsenal Settings Editor.exe: 0xC000041D: An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback. If I choose "Break" in VS at that point, I see a panel that says "Symbol file not loaded", but then I can't do anymore because it's a trial version of VS

I'm selecting "Arsenal LPP_A" which is the script that I use. Can you please zip up the entire Arsenal_LPP_A settings folder and attach it here so that I can take a look at what is going on?

One question: should I be able to edit the assignments of individual buttons in a matrix? Yes, if you're using a mode (such as ClyphX Mode, Global User Mode or User Note Mode) that allows for that.

Thank you Stray for this app, it really makes sense. I've tested Mac version only. What is spotted so far and could be imo improved relatively quickly: 1. The app has native OS X controls for fullscreen, but doesn't react to standard key combination for fullscreen toggling. Guess I could write some script or service for that, but having the app responding to standard system UI hotkeys would be nice. 2. The 8x8 grid shown in the app doesn't fit my laptop's 1280x800 screen (see screenshot) – the bottom row is completely cropped, and there are no scrollbars in the window. This happens not every time though – sometimes I can see all 8 rows at once. IMHO, this looks like some sort of scaling issue (note the proportions of pads). By the way, is it written in QT or something else? I'm running Mac OS 10.12.6.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll decrease the minimum size of the window and see what I can do about adding fullscreen shortcuts. And, yes, the app uses the JUCE library.
