Hi Stray, im having issues with the latest live 10 beta & mxt. Im using 2 screens. Sometimes on my maschine the display wont update, no matter times i press the "enter & control" key combo. Also sometimes the rec session button will not go out after clip recording is over. After clip recording if i press "erase" to erase recorded notes, the pads just go dark instead of illuminating the pads containing midi info. dont seem to have any of those issues with a single screen, and im not having them with dual screens in live 9. thanks Attachments:Log.txt (615.78 KB)

I'm not sure what would cause that as MXT-Live doesn't have any way of behaving differently depending upon how many monitors you're using and your Log.txt file doesn't shed any light on it unfortunately. I'll look further into this and discuss it with Ableton if need be. Thanks for reporting it.

Thanks, I think some how the "second window" causes MXT to lose focus. I noticed that in live 10 both windows when using this function have the "file" "edit" "create" etc.headers, as live 9 only has it on the main window...if that makes sense. When i change the window focus to the display on my second monitor in live 9, (arrangement view) and try to erase notes with the erase button in a recorded clip, the pads do not illuminate, until i re-focus on the session view. This is the behavior im experiencing in live 10 almost all the time.
If i close down the session and start fresh with 1 window, i dont have any issues until i open the second window and the change focus, after that it never recovers correct functionality until i close and open a new session.

Apologies for taking so long on this , but I can confirm everything you reported here. Part of this is due to the script crashing due to issues with detecting whether a clip is in session view or not. Certain functionality, such as note erasing, is only possible in session view clips. That crash can be fixed.
The other part has to do with the new way focusing works with dual windows in Live 10. Selecting arrangement view will, in some cases, deselect the clip that was selected in session view. That we can't fix unfortunately.

Hey Stray,
I just updated to Live 10 and I got Arsenal PS2 working flawlessly except for the fact that a lot of my colors on my user note mode are messed up. Like my yellow is now green and my purple is way off. My dark green is now a off yellow. I reinstalled everything correctly I thought and everything works perfect so I’m not sure what would be throwing the colors off like this.
Any idea what would be causing this? Thanks, -Nik

ps. I did double check my user note settings to make sure I had the colors correctly set and they are displaying the wrong colors.

Thanks for reporting. This is a known issue that is due to Push 2 using a different color palette in Live 10. It's still being researched to determine if there is a way to handle this while also maintaining compatibility with Live 9.

Update: There's a hotfix available that addresses the LED colors issue in Live 10. Please send an email to support and I'll set you up with it.
