Welcome to the forum. If you named the script 'Knobs', the name of the file would be 'Knobs.surface.xml', not 'knobs.surface.xml'. Aside from that, make sure you're closing Studio One before attempting to locate the file and maybe try using a name that's a bit more unique than Knobs.

Thanks for your quick reply and greetings, Stray! However, this doesn't work for me, please see screenshots attached. I've closed S1 prior to taking screenshots and even rebooted the machine. Attachments:

The file definitely exists, it's just a matter of where. Perhaps it's in a hidden location hence it not being found by a search? For example, on newer versions of OS X your User library is hidden and that's one of the locations the file might reside in. Did you try looking in there? If it helps, the file will be located within a directory containing Studio One's settings. On Windows, the directory structure looks like this: PreSonus\Studio One 2\User Devices. I would expect it would be similar on OS X.

Not sure what you mean on that. I'd suggest taking a look at the Mackie Control Guide (available from the Help menu in Studio One), which covers topics such as Control Link.

I have a small issue Stray. In Studio One 2.6.2 I have PXT General set up and running but I'm getting double notes every time I hit a pad (the note I hit and one half step down). I have uninstalled and reinstalled PXT General 3 times with the same thing happening. It ran correctly until I reloaded my computer last fall, now it's unusable. Any idea what may be the cause of the extra noted being triggered?

Welcome to forum. You've either got one of the add note functions turned on or you're using incorrect settings. You can fix the former by turning the add note functions off. You can fix the latter by using correct settings. In particular, Studio One should be set up to not receive MIDI from/send MIDI to Push's user ports.

Where are the add note functions located?

The third and fourth encoders when the Scales button is turned on. The manual covers this in more detail.

No need to feel that way. Just good to know that you got it sorted out.

Hi admin! Thank you for a great product! The reason why I am writing to you is because I keep on getting random blue screen crashes every now and then when I use pxt general. Is there some kind of an update I could download to maybe fix this? (I know, it can be crashing because of something else but it does when I use pxt general)
Best regards

Welcome to the forum. Yes, there is an alternate version of PXT-General that addresses this. Send an email to the support address listed in the back of the manual and we'll get you setup.
FWIW, the issue has to do with a slight incompatibility between certain display drives and the framework upon which PXT-General is built.

Stray, will it be possible to enable 'automap' to new Macro Controls as of version 3?
