I just purchased the following packs:
I have run into a bit of unexpected behavior with these scripts.
I have the following settings set:
ALLOW_MULTI_TRACK_SESSION_RECORD = FALSE
FIXED_LENGTH_ON_BY_DEFAULT = TRUE
FIXED_LENGTH_DEFAULT_LENGTH = 2
(I set these without editing the .txt file formatting)
When I am in the SESSION_RECORD mode I can record clips on any track, and only the selected track records a clip.
An unexpected behavior arises when I go to overdub an existing clip. When I press an existing clip in SESSION_RECORD mode, it will record clips onto all other armed tracks while also overdubbing the existing clip.
Is this an intended behavior? Is there a way to turn off multi-track recording when overdubbing?
Here is a share google drive folder with a quick video demo, and my Arsenal folder for you to examine:
Welcome to the forum. It is the intended behavior, but I can understand how it could be undesirable in some cases. I'll look into adding an option to remove the overdubbing feature of the mode. In the interim, you can workaround it by turning exclusive arm on in Live's preferences.
